About the Author:
Dr. Maureen Kobusingye, Ph.D., is passionately curious about creating children's stories whose characters possess attributes that young readers may find helpful in navigating the challenges of growing up. Maureen hopes her readers will find skills, morals, and wisdom that are helpful to work through life's challenging stages, especially in the absence of trusted counsel from significant others. Also, Maureen aspires to inspire children to enjoy reading without expecting questions at the end of the story, but self-reflection, curiosity, and resonance.
Maureen is a Ugandan who works in Kampala, Uganda, as a counseling psychologist and as an adjunct lecturer of mental health counseling and psychology. She earned her Counselor Education and Supervision doctorate from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, USA.
